# How to Subscribe and Cancel

> Learn how to subscribe to a LOREKEEPER plan, accepted payment methods, and how to cancel your subscription at any time.

## Subscribing to a Plan

Upgrading your LOREKEEPER account takes less than a minute.

1. Go to the **Store** page from the main navigation.
2. Choose the plan that fits your play style (Aventurero, Heroe, or Leyenda).
3. Click **Subscribe** and complete the checkout.

Payment is processed securely through **Stripe**. You will receive a confirmation email once your subscription is active.

## Accepted Payment Methods

LOREKEEPER accepts the following through Stripe:

* Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
* Apple Pay
* Google Pay

<Tip>Stripe handles all payment processing. LOREKEEPER never stores your card details directly.</Tip>

## Managing Your Subscription

To view or modify your subscription, go to your **Profile** settings and click **Manage Subscription**. This opens the Stripe customer portal where you can:

* View your current plan and billing cycle
* Update your payment method
* Download invoices
* Cancel your subscription

## How to Cancel

1. Navigate to **Profile** and then **Manage Subscription**.
2. In the Stripe portal, click **Cancel Plan**.
3. Confirm the cancellation.

That is it. No hidden steps, no retention calls.

## What Happens After Cancellation

When you cancel, your paid features remain active **until the end of your current billing period**. You will not be charged again.

After the billing period ends:

* Your account reverts to the Free plan.
* Your campaigns and characters are preserved -- nothing is deleted.
* You lose access to premium features like campaign memory, TTS, and autonomous NPCs.
* Your daily turns adjust to the Free tier allowance (20/day).

<Note>If you change your mind, you can resubscribe at any time from the Store page. Your campaigns and characters will still be there.</Note>
