# Creating Your First Campaign

> Step-by-step guide to starting your first LOREKEEPER campaign using Quick Start. Pick a world, choose a hero, and play in under 2 minutes.

## Quick Start: From Zero to Adventure

LOREKEEPER's Quick Start flow gets you into a game in under two minutes. No complex setup, no rulebook -- just pick, name, and play.

## Step 1: Choose a World

After signing in, hit **Quick Start** and you will see a selection of world genres. Each one sets the tone for your adventure: high fantasy, dark fantasy, sci-fi, cyberpunk, and more.

<Tip>New to LOREKEEPER? We recommend **Mokgard**, a classic fantasy world with familiar tropes -- swords, magic, taverns, and dragons. It is the best way to learn the ropes.</Tip>

## Step 2: Choose Your Hero

Next, pick a pre-made hero or select an archetype to build from. Pre-made heroes come with a backstory, class, race, and starting equipment already configured. Archetypes let you customize a bit more while still keeping setup fast.

Don't overthink it -- you can always create new characters later.

## Step 3: Name Your Character

Give your character a name. This is how the AI DM will address you throughout the story. Pick something that fits the world, or go with whatever makes you smile.

## Step 4: Play

That is it. The AI DM will set the scene, introduce your surroundings, and hand you the reins. Type what your character does and watch the story unfold.

## Tips for Your First Session

* **Be descriptive.** Instead of "I attack," try "I charge at the goblin with my axe, aiming for its shield arm."
* **Explore freely.** Talk to NPCs, inspect objects, wander off the path. The AI adapts.
* **Don't worry about dying.** Combat is forgiving early on, and you will learn the mechanics as you go.

<Note>Your first 3 days include a trial at Leyenda quality -- the highest tier. Make the most of it.</Note>
