# Party Mode: Shared Screen Gaming

> Learn about Party Mode in LOREKEEPER -- shared screen with voiced AI DM for in-person game nights.

## What Is Party Mode?

Party Mode transforms LOREKEEPER into a shared-screen tabletop experience with a voiced AI Dungeon Master. Gather your friends around one device, and the AI DM narrates your adventure out loud while everyone plays together in the same room.

## Availability

Party Mode is available on **Hero** and **Legend** plans. If you are on a free or Adventurer plan, you can upgrade from your account settings to unlock this feature.

## How to Start a Party Mode Session

1. Open your multiplayer campaign from the dashboard.
2. Select **Party Mode** from the session options.
3. Choose your audio output device and adjust the volume.
4. The AI DM will begin narrating in voice. All players interact through the shared screen.

<Tip>Connect your device to a TV or large monitor for the best experience. A Bluetooth speaker makes the voiced DM even more immersive.</Tip>

## Best Use Cases

Party Mode is designed for **in-person game nights**. Instead of everyone staring at their own phone, the group shares one screen while the AI DM speaks the narrative aloud. It captures the feeling of sitting around a table with a real Game Master.

Great scenarios for Party Mode:

* Weekend game nights with friends
* Introducing new players to tabletop RPGs
* Family-friendly adventures with younger players
* Convention demos or game showcases

<Note>Each player still needs their own LOREKEEPER account to control their character. Party Mode handles the shared display and voice narration, while individual actions are managed through the session interface.</Note>

## Tips for a Great Session

* Assign roles before starting so the group is organized.
* Keep the device charged or plugged in for longer sessions.
* Use a quiet room so the voiced DM is easy to hear.
