Adventuring Together Means Sharing

In multiplayer campaigns, your party shares a pool of resources that everyone depends on. Managing these well can mean the difference between survival and disaster.

Group Inventory

The group inventory holds items that belong to the party rather than individual characters. Quest items, shared loot, and communal equipment all live here. Any player can view the group inventory, but the Treasurer role has special authority over distribution.

Gold

Gold is pooled at the party level. When the group earns rewards, gold goes into the shared fund. Purchases from merchants and services draw from this same pool. The Treasurer manages spending decisions and the AI DM routes trade interactions through them.

Supplies

Supplies are consumable resources that sustain the party during travel and exploration:
  • Rations — Food for the journey. Running out affects morale and stamina.
  • Torches — Light sources for dark environments. Essential in dungeons and caves.
  • Healing Kits — Medical supplies for treating wounds outside of magic.
  • Rope — Useful for climbing, binding, and creative problem-solving.
  • Tents — Shelter for rest. Improves recovery during camp.
The AI DM tracks supply consumption automatically based on the party’s actions and travel distance. Keep an eye on your stock before long journeys.

Mounts and Vehicles

Your party can acquire mounts and vehicles that affect travel speed and carrying capacity. These are shared assets managed from the group inventory screen.
Assign the Treasurer role to a detail-oriented player. Good resource management keeps the whole party alive and well-equipped for whatever the AI DM throws at you.
