How It Works

When you return to a campaign after a gap of 30 minutes or more, the AI DM automatically detects the break. Before continuing the story, it generates a concise recap of what happened in your previous session. The recap covers:
  • Key events: Major story beats, combat outcomes, and important discoveries.
  • NPC interactions: Who you spoke to and what was discussed.
  • Quest progress: Updates on your active objectives.
  • Current situation: Where your character is and what they were doing when you left.
Read the recap carefully. It often reminds you of details and clues that are easy to forget between sessions.

After the recap, the DM transitions smoothly back into the narrative. There is no awkward restart or need to re-explain your intentions. You are back in the story as if you never left.
